Thank you for your interest in the online meditation Program. Practicing meditation on a consistent basis can greatly improve your emotional health and help create lasting positive change.

What is Meditation?

The program focuses on learning about meditation and related emotional intelligence practices, as well as practicing guided meditation.

Meditation is the mental practice of bringing attention to what’s happening right now in our mind and body.

How Does Meditation Support You?

Meditation is a powerful support tool for reducing or eliminating:

  • Anxiety and worry.
  • Depression.
  • Significant rumination (that is, being stuck in circular thoughts that waste time or create emotional suffering).
  • Difficulty focusing and impulsivity.
  • Unstable identity (having an identity that relies on external objects such as money, status, or admiration, as opposed to a core stability of wellness regardless of external circumstances).

Those who practice regular meditation often experience:

  • A greater sense of well-being.
  • Better ability to focus and sustain attention.
  • A more stable identity and greater resilience.
  • Higher degrees of self-awareness (understanding their feelings, recognizing their own preferences, abilities, weaknesses, and values).
  • Higher degrees of Emotional Intelligence (EI), including the ability to connect with others, communicate effectively, influence and lead others, self-regulate, and stay motivated.
  • Higher self-esteem and self-confidence.
  • Stronger social relationships.
  • The ability to be spontaneous without being impulsive.

How often do I receive sessions?

Each and every week, you will receive access to one recording of approximately 30-45 minutes:

  • 10-15 minutes of teaching about a specific topic. Examples of topics are self-awareness, coping with pain, understanding the mind, the difference between pain and suffering, managing relationships with others, and many more.
  • 10-15 minutes of guided meditation.
  • 5-10 minutes of answering questions that participants send through email.

Please be advised, this program is not psychotherapy and does not presume to be a replacement for psychotherapy in any way whatsoever. If you require emotional support or are dealing with any form of mental health challenge, attending this program only without professional support is not advised. In such cases, please seek professional help. It will not be possible to provide emotional or psychological support and services via this program.
